Accommodation Options as at 2023

1)  Rooms range from  €73 - €200 per day.  See website (all prices on website include three meals)

 

2)  Camping onsite in your van/tent costs €59 per day (food, board and camping fees).

 

3)  Self organized off-site accommodations.

 

The venue does not offer the possibility to “opt-out” of food and board.

For Participants living close to the venue or staying elsewhere close by, the following costs apply:

 

• Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & venue fee: 52 €

• Lunch, Dinner & venue fee:  42 €

• Lunch & venue fee 28 €

Meals & Drinks

 

Hotel Sonnenstrahl offers breakfast and a delicious vegetarian buffet (salads, sprouts, soup, a variety of main dishes etc) for lunch and dinner.

Gluten free and vegan options are always provided.

They are generally happy to accommodate requests, possibly even for meat occasionally.

Drinks

 

Drinks are not included in the lodging costs.

Coffee, tea and other beverages are provided for breakfast, and throughout the day are available, but paid for separately. 

The Astro Bar is open in the evenings, although we do recommend staying free of intoxicants during the workshop.

 

Filtered and boiled water is available free of charge throughout the day and night.

 

Additional Parking

 

Non-resident Participant fee:  There is a fee of 7 € per day that has to be paid by participants who live close to the hotel and therefore don’t stay at the hotel overnight (included in this fee is: use of the facilities, pool, cleaning, electricity, etc.). As above, participants who don’t stay at the hotel also have to book the meals since this is part of our contractual agreement with the hotel.

 

Swimming pool

The hotel offers an indoor heated swimming pool, so please bring a bathing suit.

 

Internet access (WLAN)

The hotel offers free WLAN access but only in the “Astrobar” and not in the rooms
(there are also no TV sets in the rooms).

 

Shopping

Kisslegg is a small town, in a rural area. Shops close early in the evening. Bring everything you'll need in regards to toiletries, specialty foods, snacks etc
